High School |

|
The first high school in Fowler, Kansas, named Friends University, was built in 1911, on the site of the present-day grade school. The school was renamed Fowler High School in 1923. Fowler's current high school was built in 1950 in memory of Leslie Dean, Raymond Pullman, Merel Eaton, Max Middleswart, Arthur Holtz, Albert Miller, Roscoe Marrs, Eugene Plymale, and J. Wallace Latham. These brave soldiers and Fowler residents were casualties of WWII. There have since been many renovations and additions to the high school, but the foundation and spirit of the building lives on.
