USD #225 Board of Education Meeting
December 3rd, 2018, 7 p.m.
Call to order: Barb Whitney, President, called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and Whitney led in prayer.
Members present: Barb Whitney, Dave Snook, Jamie Boese, and Tom Huelskamp were present. Others present were Jeff Bollinger, Superintendent, Corri McDowell, Principal and Erica Rarden, Board Clerk. Not present: Fred Boyd and Richie Dewell.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: Rebecca Heinz, Donna Norman, Ed Rarden, Tammy Bollinger, Debbie Wise, Kim McLachlan, Erica Foster, Emily Dizmang, Sydney Bollinger, Savannah Bollinger, Oscar Teran, Rolando Guzman, Oscar Teran Sr., Cassandra Teran, Jonah Bollinger
Approve Consent Agenda: Snook moved, seconded by Huelskamp to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
REPORTS No reports given
State Board of Education Presentation: Full State Board of Education presentation was given.
Bank Signature Card: Snook moved, seconded by Huelskamp to remove Paula Watson and Lory Finke from the district bank signature card. Motion carried 4-0.
Board Position Interviews: Board members interviewed Ed Rarden and Marjean Strong to fill vacant board position. Snook moved, seconded by Boese to table decision to vote/fill position until further notice. Motion carried 4-0.
Christmas Bonus: Boese moved, seconded by Snook to approve $200.00 Christmas Bonus for each employee. Motion carried: 4-0.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Snook, seconded by Huelskamp to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Time: 8:32 p.m.
