March 30, 2020, 7:00 P.M.
Meeting held via Zoom
Call to order: T.J. Milford, Board President, called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members present: Fred Boyd, Ed Rarden, Kimberly Copenhaver, Cathy Heinz, Tom Huelskamp, Jamie Boese, and TJ Milford were present. Others present were Jeff Bollinger, Superintendent, Corri McDowell, Principal, and Erica Rarden, Board Clerk.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: David Adams, Emily Dizmang, Joaquin Velez-Prieto, Kim McLachlan, and Sara Gainy
Discussion
Resolutions: Boese moved, seconded by Heinz to approve the following resolutions and waiver application:
Resolution of the Board Regarding Wage Payments during the Emergency School Closings (Senate Bill 142, K.S.A. 72-3117)
Resolution for Suspending Board Policy IHF Graduation Requirements
Approve KSDE waiver application packet
Motion carried 7-0
Executive Session
Milford moved, seconded by Heinz to go into executive session for 10 minutes, board only, to discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel exception under KOMA. This session is required to protect the privacy interests of the individual(s) to be discussed. Motion carried 7-0. 7:11 p.m.
Huelskamp moved, seconded by Boyd to go into executive session for 10 minutes. Motion carried 7-0. 7:22 p.m.
Huelskamp moved, seconded by Copenhaver to go into executive session for 5 minutes. Motion carried 7-0. 7:34 p.m.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Huelskamp, seconded by Copenhaver to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 7-0. Time: 7:40 p.m.
