About Me Mickey Stout/Kansas History/Driver Education/Physical Education, Teacher I grew up in Cherokee, Oklahoma and graduated there in 1975, then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University where I ran track for four years and graduated with a B.S. degree in 1981. After graduating from college, I worked in the oil fields for two years in Oklahoma where I worked floors, worked derricks, and eventually relief drilled. I landed my first teaching job in Billings, Oklahoma, and then moved to Gage, Oklahoma and Enid, Oklahoma where I taught at Covington-Douglas High School. Moved to Protection, Kansas and taught and coached at Protection High School for three years and eventually moved to Fowler, Kansas where I am today. I live east of Minneola, Kansas and have lived there for around 11 years. I have a wonderful wife and two kids, Morgan Stout, 9, and Logan Stout 6 years of age which both attend the Fowler Schools. I am currently working on my masters program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and hope to finish in 2012. I have several passions; I enjoy traveling with my family to watch football and basketball games throughout the year and traveling to Colorado for vacations every year. I enjoy teaching Driver Education at Liberal and Minneola, Kansas in the summer time where I can teach students learning how to drive. When I am not teaching in the summer, I love to help my dad and cousin farm around Cherokee, Oklahoma.
