About the Principal

This is my second year as principal of Fowler Junior/Senior High School. My previous experience as an administrator was at Liberal and West Elk. I was also an educational consultant for Southwest Plains Regional Service Center. It was an honor to be the first person in Kansas to achieve National Board Certification as an exceptional needs specialist. This led to recognition from the Kansas State Board of Education as an Exemplary Educator and Master Teacher. Like USD 225, my mission is unprecedented excellence.
Derek, my husband, and I make our home in Fowler. Derek teaches and coaches in Meade. Although both of our children graduated from Meade, they migrated to Indiana. Our daughter, Kinni, is a chiropractor who is married to a chiropractor. Kinni and Cory practice at the same office. They have two beautiful girls. Keaton is three and Kerrigan is six months old. Our son, Jared, is a math and technology teacher in Indiana. He is married to Sarah who is an educational consultant for Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
