Summer Learning Labs
This first week of Summer Learning has been so much fun. We have learned about the origin of the penny, how to make art from torn paper, how to make chocolate milk and create your own battery. Thursday (6/11) is our first Take a Trip Thursday. We are going to visit the Dalton Gang Hideout in Meade. We will load the bus at 9:45 and should return no later than 11:15. There is no cost to the students for this trip. A completed permission form is needed for this event. This activity is open to all students entering grades PREK-6th and do not have to be Fowler School students to attend.
Summer Learning Labs are from 9:00am-10:30am for students in PREK and Kindergarten (3-5 years old) and from 10:30-12:00 for students in grades First-Sixth.
Next week is going to be as much fun if not more! We hope to see you then.
Upcoming Dates:
June 11th- Visit the Dalton Gang Hideout -- depart at 9:45am and return by 11:15
June 15th, 17th, and 22nd- Summer Learning Labs from 9-12
June 23rd -- Take a trip to the Big Well in Greensburg -- depart the school at 9:00am and return by Noon.
July 8th- Summer Learning Lab from 9-12 ( last one for this year)
July 9th - Last Take a Trip Thursday-- We are going to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson. Depart the school at 8am and return by 5pm. Students will need to bring the $15.00 entry fee and a sack lunch.
Parents may join us for any day or trip.
