SPECIAL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING ROOM

Thursday, October 20, 2011                        7:00 p.m.

Call to order: Leighton Miller called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

Members present:   Leighton Miller, Dan Harris, Steve Lundeen, Tim Milford, Duke Marrs, and Marjean Strong. Jan Granados was absent.

Motion by Leighton Miller, seconded by Dan Harris to enter into executive session to discuss personnel in order to protect the public interest and that the board returns to open session in the board room at 7:14 p.m. Board members were present.  Motion carried 6-0.  Time:  7:04 p.m.

Tim Milford moved for an extension of executive session to 7:45, Marjean Strong seconded.  Motion carried 6-0. Board members, Dr. Williams, Mrs. Leiker, and Terrell Coons were present. Time: 7:15

Tim Milford moved for an extension of executive session to 8:15, Dan Harris seconded.  Motion carried 6-0. Board members, Dr. Williams, Mrs. Leiker, and Terrell Coons were present. Time: 7:45

Tim Milford moved for an extension of executive session to 8:45, Marjean Strong seconded.  Motion carried 6-0. Board members, Dr. Williams, Mrs. Leiker, and Terrell Coons were present. Time: 8:15

Tim Milford moved for an extension of executive session to 8:55, Marjean Strong seconded.  Motion carried 6-0. Board members, Dr. Williams, Mrs. Leiker, and Terrell Coons were present. Time: 8:45

Adjournment:

Steve Lundeen made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Tim Milford seconded.  Motion carried 6-0.  Time: 8:55 p.m.
