USD #225 Board of Education Meeting
January 30th 2019, 6:30 p.m.
Call to order: Barb Whitney, President, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and Whitney led in prayer.
Members present: Barb Whitney, Dave Snook, Richie Dewell, Ed Rarden, Jamie Boese and Tom Huelskamp were present. Others present were Erica Rarden, Board Clerk. Fred Boyd was not present.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: Janet Huelskamp, Decina Heinz, Kim McLachlan, Mike McLachlan, Drew Glenn, Van Heinz, Erica Foster, Emily Dizmang, and Phil Marrs.
Executive Session: Snook moved and seconded by Dewell to go into executive session for 45 minutes to discuss personnel matters of nonelected personnel. The session is required to protect the privacy interest of the individual(s) to be discussed. Motion carried 6-0. 6:33 p.m.
Superintendent Contract: Snook moved, seconded by Dewell to extend the superintendent’s contract for 2 years. Motion carried 6-0.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Snook, seconded by Huelskamp to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 6-0. Time: 7:12 p.m.
